A Day In The Park: Canyon de Chelly National Monument

Visit Canyon de Chelly National Monument in Arizona, and you are standing within the Navajo Nation. Canyon de Chelly is home to the Diné (Navajo for “the People”) who have lived in these canyons for almost 5,000 years. Here, you can view red rock landscape created by tectonic forces and stream cutting, hike into the canyon, or take a guided tour.
