Trails I’ve Hiked: General Grant Tree Trail
The General Grant Tree Trail at Kings Canyon National Park in California is an easy, paved, 0.33-mile/0.5-kilometer (one-way) trail with views not only of the second largest tree in the world by volume, but also the historic Gamlin Cabin, Centennial Stump, and the Fallen Monarch, a downed sequoia tree through which you can walk from one end to the other.
