A Day In The Park: Assateague Island National Seashore

Viewing wild horses is just one of many activities you can do while visiting Assateague Island National Seashore in Maryland and Virginia. There are over 200 species of birds to view and photograph, 37 miles of beach to walk, trails for hiking and biking, and exploring the bays and coves by kayak or canoe. You can even catch your own dinner surf fishing or crabbing.
