Road Work Will Snarl Traffic In Yosemite National Park Near South Entrance

A large debris avalanche has covered an "administrative road" at North Cascades National Park Complex, and some visitor access will be affected for several months. Hikers and boaters intending to portage between Diablo Lake and Ross Lake need to take notice.

Great Progress Means Loop Road around Cades Cove in Great Smoky Mountains National Park Will Reopen Early

Earlier this year we heard that good contracting saved the National Park Service millions of dollars on American Recovery and Reinvestment Act projects. And now the folks at Great Smoky Mountains National Park say the laying of a new road around Cades Cove will finish about a month ahead of schedule!

National Park Service, Alaska Game Officials Publicly Settle Differences Over Wolf Killings

Zion National Park Shuttle Returns to the Road April 1, And That's No Joke

If you're heading to Zion National Park in the coming days, know that you won't be able to drive your car into Zion Canyon unless you have a reservation at the lodge. As of Thursday the Zion Shuttle swings back into action to ease the congestion in the scenic canyon.
