Grand Teton National Park

A red fox that became accustomed to handouts from visitors at Grand Teton National Park had to be put down because it became overly bold in approaching people.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is soliciting further public comment on the removal of Endangered Species Act protections for Yellowstone-area grizzly bears following a court ruling.

It started in mid-September; a few flakes began to flutter across the Crown of the Continent in Glacier National Park. The snow since then has slowly spread east and west, north and south. By January the white mantle likely will cover the whole northern tier of the National Park System, from Acadia west to Olympic, south through Rocky Mountain, into Shenandoah and Great Smoky Mountain national parks.

Grand Teton National Park received $17 million worth of projects, programs, and even some infrastructure, in fiscal 2017 from the Grand Teton National Park Foundation.
