Just curious how much difference does a circular polarizer make. We are headed there in late September and would like to be prepared. Thanks and great work.
Hi there! Thanks for the kind words. A circular polarizer is one of those things all photographers should carry in their camera bags. That, and a graduated ND filter. The CPL will help reduce glare, add more color saturation, and, if there are clouds, add more texture to those clouds. Of course, it depends upon the angle of the sun. CPLs don't really work when the sun is overhead, but morning and afternoon hours are great. CPLs also help reduce haze. So, whether or not you choose to use a CPL, you should carry one with you.
