Death Valley Explorer: Ghost Of Water

Share

Though Death Valley is one of the driest places on Earth, water has been there, and is there. Water has sculpted the landscape of the national park that cups the valley, and has enabled the plant and animal life that calls this place home. This short, informative video delves into the "Ghost of Water" that can be seen in Death Valley.

The most famous sites have all been shaped by water that has come before. While water is rare in Death Valley, it is present, you just have to know where to look for it.

Rio Tinto donated $50,000 to produce a documentary video series designed to engage the public in Death Valley National Park’s unique beauty and history through social media. The gift was made through the Death Valley Natural History Association to support the National Park Service in their collaboration with Bristlecone Media to produce the series.
