The rivers are administered in three zones or districts: the Upper Current, Jacks Fork, and Lower Current. The businesses will be located outside the park, but will be authorized by contract to provide commercial services within the boundary of Ozark National Scenic Riverways. Concessioners are assigned specific areas in which to operate. The businesses are seasonally operated, with the prime operating season between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The shoulder season is typically April 15 through Memorial Day, and Labor Day through October 15.
