Deby Dixon is a full-time photographer/videographer, writer, and wildlife advocate, living outside of the gates of Yellowstone National Park, which she visits nearly every day. Her passion is the wolves but she enjoys all of the wildlife in the park. In addition to photography, Deby also enjoys short hikes into Yellowstone's backcountry where she can really enjoy the sounds and smells of nature. During winters in Yellowstone, Deby enjoys tracking the animals in the snow, and reading the landscape for any signs of a carcass - always on the look out for the birds. In the busier months, Deby spends a great deal of time watching the wolves and bears while answering numerous questions from visitors. She loves to teach people about the wildlife and tell the individual's story, if she knows them. And, whenever she can pull herself away from Yellowstone, Deby makes a trip down to Grand Teton National Park where she camps, hikes and photographs the stunning scenery and the grizzly bears, foxes, moose, black bears, owls and other critters. Once home at night, Deby edits a few photos and writes a story about the day and/or the animals, which she shares with numerous fans on Facebook, hoping that they will come to care about our national parks as much as she does. Join her on Facebook and keep up with what is going on in Yellowstone, on a daily basis.
