Sea Lion Yearling Rescued After Crossing Road In Golden Gate National Recreation Area

Legislation Offered That Would Reroute Sections Of North Country Scenic Trail, Connect It With A.T.

Legislation introduced in Congress would, if enacted, one day allow you to walk from North Dakota to Vermont on the North Country Scenic Trail, and then hang a right and head down to Georgia on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail.

Wolf Spotted At Grand Canyon, Killed In Utah, Was From Yellowstone Area

Genetic analysis has concluded that a wolf that had been seen on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon last fall, and was shot and killed in Utah late in December, had been fitted with a radio collar outside of Yellowstone National Park in January 2014.

Paddling The Border Route In The Boundary Waters

It’s a 200-mile paddle along Minnesota’s Border Route, from Crane Lake on the eastern side of Voyageurs National Park to Grand Portage National Monument on Lake Superior. There are twists and turns as it follows a series of pristine, remote lakes linked by portages along the Minnesota and Ontario border.
