Support National Parks Journalism

National Parks Traveler, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) media organization, is the Internet's top-ranked, editorially independent website that follows national parks with a daily burst of news, commentary, and travel-related features.

On any given day you might read a travel feature, learn about a new interpretive program, discover a hiking trail, be brought up to date on management conflicts in the parks, or find a field program that perfectly fits your interests.

As you can imagine, keeping the Traveler online, and filling it with fresh content from writers and photographers, doesn't come without costs. From the website servers and background technicians to contributors who also have bills to pay, ensuring the Traveler is online when you surf over to the site isn't inexpensive.

If you look forward each day to seeing what the Traveler is reporting, if you value independent, nonpartisan journalism focused on national parks, believe there's a need for more expansive coverage of the national parks, coverage that goes far beyond aggregation and sound bites, then we need your support. It will help us expand our mission of nurturing more advocates for the national parks with richer, more diverse content.
