Photo Exhibit To Benefit Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks

Another photo exhibit is scheduled to benefit national parks, this one in Seattle with the proceeds to go towards programs at Olympic, Mount Rainier, and North Cascades national parks.

The other day we mentioned a photo exhibit in Montana to help with efforts to protect Glacier National Park and Waterton Lakes National Park in neighboring Alberta. The latest exhibit is scheduled for March 18 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The Mountaineers headquarters in Seattle’s Magnuson Park. Proceeds from the evening will support programs at the three national parks.

The evening will include displays and a silent auction of nature photography along with a special program about our national parks. Participating photographers include: John Chao, Stephen Matera, and Dave Schiefelbein. The evening’s featured speaker is photographer Harry von Stark, who will discuss his project documenting the Elwha River dam removal and watershed restoration projects at Olympic National Park.

Tickets: $100/person or $800/table of eight. Ticket price includes hors d’oeuvres, desserts and drinks. Buy your tickets online today! Visit and choose Events or call Washington’s National Park Fund at 253-566-4644.
