Lodging At Sequoia And Kings Canyon National Parks

If you are a brick-and-mortar type of person who enjoys spending a night or two in a historic national park lodge, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks in California offer several lodging choices. Be aware, though, these options are not cheap and their popularity requires you to make your room reservations well in advance – as much as a year in advance.

The following lodges are operated by concessioner Delaware North:

The lodge is located two miles (3.2 kilometers) from Lodgepole Village and six miles (6.4 kilometers) from Giant Forest Museum. For 2026, prices average  $376 - $503 per night (not including taxes) depending upon room choice, month and day, and whether or not a special/package deal is offered. Amenities include telephone, mini fridge, desk, iron and ironing board, central heating, coffee maker, hairdryer, television (which may not always work), and private bathroom (careful in the tub as it can get slippery).

Traveler contributing photographer Rebecca Latson stayed a week at the Wuksachi Lodge in 2025 and had no room complaints except for the slippery tub and the bathroom's noisy light/fan combination. Rebecca highly recommends the Wuksachi's Pizza Deck made-to-order 12-inch pizza, which you can eat on the outdoor deck or get it to go.
