Work On Boulder Creek Trail Begins Monday; No Access On Olympic Hot Springs Road Above Glines Canyon Overlook

Olympic National Park crews on Monday will start work on Boulder Creek Trail, which begins at the end of the Olympic Hot Springs Road in the Elwha Valley. For visitor and employee safety, there will be no access above the Glines Canyon Overlook on Olympic Hot Springs Road beginning Monday, May 15, until later this summer.

National Park Service Recovery Team To Open Some Areas Of Ozark Riverways

The two of us recently spent a sunny spring day on Cumberland Island, Georgia’s largest and southernmost barrier island. Ninety percent of the 30,000-acre island is owned and managed by the National Park Service as a national seashore. This was our fourth visit to the island, but it had been a number of years since we last walked the beach and marveled at the beautiful live oak trees.
