The view around Two Medicine in Glacier National Park on Monday, September 30, 2019/NPS webcam
In the wake of the weekend snowstorm that dumped feet, not inches, of snow on northern Montana, Glacier National Park in places shimmered like a winter holiday card.
Evidence of the great range of elevation at the park was seen in the snow cover at Many Glacier (4,500 feet), Two Medicine (5,164 feet), and Logan Pass (6,647 feet), and the lack of it at West Glacier (3,215 feet).

The storm left some pretty incredible snow totals in and around Glacier: nearly four feet at St. Mary, three feet at East Glacier, and 52 inches at Babb outside the Many Glacier entrance to the park,

One part of the park that escaped the snowy brunt of the storm was West Glacier, though the view across Lake McDonald was picturesque.
