Wines and underwear (yes, underwear) are some of the atypical supporters rallying around the national parks with donations to the National Park Foundation. Back, too, are the folks at Nature Valley.

Bandit Wines

Bandit Wines, the “Go Explore” wine brand, is making a $50,000 donation to the Foundation, the official nonprofit partner of the National Park Service. The funds, in accordance with Bandit Wine’s commitment to outdoor exploration, support the National Park Foundation’s efforts for #FindYourWay, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the National Trails System and Wild & Scenic Rivers System.

The partnership also supports the National Park Foundation’s Centennial Campaign for America’s National Parks. To date, this comprehensive fundraising campaign to strengthen and enhance the future of America’s treasured national parks has raised nearly $500 million in private donations from individuals, foundations and companies.

HanesBrands

As a National Park Foundation partner for the Find Your Park/Encuentra Tu Parque movement, HanesBrands’ support will benefit America’s National Park System. As part of the partnership, HanesBands will market officially licensed innerwear and activewear clothing under its leading brands, including Hanes, Champion, Alternative and Gear for Sports.

The partnership also provides unspecified support for Foundation’s Centennial Campaign for America’s National Parks.

Nature Valley

Nature Valley® granola bars has a long history of supporting and protecting America’s national parks. Recently the company announced a partnership with the National Park Foundation for the Find Your Park/Encuentra Tu Parque movement. Nature Valley’s support includes a three-year commitment and a donation of up to $3 million.

To help raise awareness, Nature Valley will also be supporting everyday hikers who are passionate about the outdoors and exploration to tell their individual stories of what nature, and America’s national parks in particular, mean to them.

Support National Parks Traveler

Your support for the National Parks Traveler comes at a time when news organizations are finding it hard, if not impossible, to stay in business. Traveler's work is vital. For nearly two decades we've provided essential coverage of national parks and protected areas. With the Trump administration’s determination to downsize the federal government, and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum’s approach to public lands focused on energy exploration, it’s clear the Traveler will have much to cover in the months and years ahead. We know of no other news organization that provides such broad coverage of national parks and protected areas on a daily basis. Your support is greatly appreciated.
