Unspecified structural issues with the highway overpass at Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park were causing traffic delays Wednesday.

In cooperation with state and local partners, and with increased warm temperatures and dry weather conditions, the Olympic National Forest and Olympic National Park, under the guidance of the Olympic Interagency Fire Management Team, have moved to moderate fire danger conditions on federal public lands.

A proposal to build a mountain bike trail network at Great Smoky Mountains National Park is being floated, one that could build nearly 13 miles of trail within a section of the Foothills Parkway transportation corridor that has not been developed.
