The Entrance to Lees Ferry Campground / NPS

Starting January 1, 2025, the site rate at Lees Ferry Campground in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area is changing to $26 per night, up from the previous $20 per night.

This new rate aligns with what similar campgrounds in the area charge for comparable services. The extra funds will go directly toward projects and activities that enhance the visitor experience at Glen Canyon.

A number of National Park Service units are either raising fees at some or all of their campgrounds in 2025 or are proposing to do so.

For example: Mojave National Preserve and  Joshua Tree National Park have raised fees for 2025, and Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, White Sands National Park, Mammoth Cave National Park, among others, have proposed fee increases. The fee increases are typically used to cover maintenance and staffing shortfalls. This is crucial as camping numbers continue to climb nationwide.
