With most roads in Yellowstone National Park having reopened following last month's devastating flooding, and with no restrictions on entering the park, many of the park's lodges and campgrounds have reopened.

According to Yellowstone National Park Lodges, a division of Xanterra Travel Collection, here's the latest status on lodging and camping in the park:

  • Seven of nine Yellowstone National Park Lodges along with all five Xanterra-operated campgrounds are open to serve guests and visitors, offering overnight lodging, camping, dining, gift shops and tours. These include Canyon Lodge & Cabins, Lake Yellowstone Hotel & Cabins, Lake Lodge Cabins, Grant Village, Old Faithful Inn, Old Faithful Lodge, Old Faithful Snow Lodge, Madison Campground, Bridge Bay Campground, Grant Campground, Canyon Campground and Fishing Bridge RV Park.

    • Mammoth Hotel & Cabins and Roosevelt Lodge Cabins remain closed until further notice.

  • There are still rooms, campsites and tours available in the park for this summer. You can check reservations at this page or by calling 307-344-7311.

  • 93 percent of all roads are open to visitor vehicular traffic, including the main park roads (upper and lower loop).  All roads from Wyoming into the Park are open.

    • Roads that remain closed include Mammoth Hot Springs to North Entrance and Tower-Roosevelt Junction to Northeast Entrance (both in Montana)

  • Three entrances are currently open, including the East Entrance from Cody, Wyoming.; South Entrance from Jackson, Wyoming; and West Entrance from West Yellowstone, Montana.

    • The North and Northeast entrances from Montana remain closed at this time.

  • The primary natural features and highlights that make Yellowstone special – including wildlife, geyers, hot springs and scenery – remain available to the public.
