A search is under way for a new executive director of the North Cascades Institute/NCI
After 35 years, Saul Weisberg will be retiring from the North Cascades Institute. To find his successor as executive director, Potrero Group is opening a search for the person to build on Weisberg's vision for the recreational eduction center based at North Cascades National Park in Washington.
Executive Director Job Description
Weisberg plans to retire in June 2021. His successor must be equally an educational visionary, entrepreneurial fundraiser, and an organizational leader, and will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's goals, programs, and sustainability, as it moves into its next phase of growth. The executive director will have a direct and meaningful impact on the future of the North Cascades as a resource for all Northwest Washington residents, visitors, and program participants and a national model of conservation.
