Vehicle Reservations

You won't need a vehicle timed entry reservation for driving Going-to-the-Sun Road in 2026, but you will need to be aware of how long you park in the Logan Pass parking lot. According to a February 2026 article, a pilot program starting July 1 will limit vehicles to three hours parking at the Logan Pass.

Ticketed Logan Pass Shuttle System

A new shuttle system to Logan Pass is being initiated at the same time as the Logan Pass parking limit. Those individuals planning to hike longer than three hours will need to purchase a shuttle ticket through recreation.gov. Currently, there is no information on that website pertaining to ticket prices, shuttle boarding times, route details, or stop locations. This information, according to Park Staff, will be released later in the season. There will be a $1 ticket processing fee charged by recreation.gov. To learn more, click on the article link in the above paragraph.

The Glacier National Park Conservancy is the official non-profit fundraising partner of Glacier National Park, and supports the preservation of the outstanding natural beauty and cultural heritage of the park for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations by fostering public awareness and encouraging private philanthropy.

The Glacier Institute offers exceptional field and science-based educational adventures to people of all ages in the Crown of the Continent, which is the only ecosystem in the lower forty eight states where all indigenous predator and prey species are naturally occurring, including grizzly bears and gray wolves.  It is a place rich in biological diversity, Native American heritage and unique geological features.
