A pair of bald eagles has once again returned to Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Ohio and is actively tending to its nest within the Pinery Narrows area of the park. To protect the eagles from human disturbance, the area surrounding the nest tree will be closed until July 31.

The National Park Service and the 11th Street Bridge Park will present the third annual Anacostia River Festival, a premier event of the National Cherry Blossom Festival. This year’s program will have a special focus on biking in the district and will celebrate the new extension of the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail to Bladensburg, Maryland.

An accessible fishing pier has opened at Cape Lookout National Seashore in North Carolina that is intended to allow persons with disabilities and all users the opportunity to safely take in the beautiful view of Core Sound or fish.
