Some views along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail in Virginia have been preserved thanks to the National Park Trust.

Work schedule modifications have allowed for necessary work on the Generals Highway in Sequoia and Kings Canyon national parks to be completed without disrupting park and forest visitors with weeknight road closures.
