And yes, even recreational needs are among the many reasons groups work to purchase private inholdings across the National Park System, which contains approximately 2.6 million acres of inholdings.

Haleakalā National Park Is Seeking Volunteers

Is there anything wrong with a small bribe to get volunteers to lend a hand at Haleakalā National Park? Not when that bribe is an annual Hawai`i Tri-Park Pass and the payoff is fewer invasive plants in the park.

Blue Heron Mine Spoil Remediation Project Completed At Big South Fork
