What's Up Next For Voyageurs National Park's Book Club?

Share

What do you do to pass winter in Minnesota's north country? Why, read books, of course. And if you live close to Voyageurs National Park, you become involved in the park's book club.

The club has two books left to read this winter.

* Kettle Falls: The Crossroads of History, will be the topic of discussion at the park's Rainy Lake Visitor Center on February 8 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

* 50 Years in the Minnesota North Country will be the book of choice for March 8, 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

After each book discussion, a short informal interpretive program will be given by a park naturalist. Books are available for sale at the visitor center. Pre-registration is not necessary.

Visitors are encouraged to come early and browse through the museum and bookstore, and check out the winter displays in the interactive area.
