With the stroke of his pen President Obama turned Pinnacles National Monument into Pinnacles National Park earlier this month. With similar ease, photographer QT Luong turned his photo gallery for Pinnacles National Monument into one for Pinnacles National Park.

Tuan owns the distinction of being the first photographer to shoot images in each of the 59 national parks. He appeared in America's Best Idea: The National Parks, the documentary by Ken Burns and Dayton Duncan, and has been profiled in National Geographic Explorer, Parks Magazine, and several photography magazines.
