Pu'uhonua o Hōnaunau at 50: Attending the Hawaiian 
Cultural Festival at the National Historical Park

In late June the Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park celebrated both its 50th anniversary and the 50th anniversary of its Cultural Festival. Contributing writer Claire Walter was there for some of the festivities.

One God Not To Irritate

They've been celebrating the 2010 Hawaiian Cultural Festival at Pu`uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park, and among the exhibits was Kukailimoku...the war god of Kamehameha the Great.
