Roads damaged as a result of California's wet winter continues to limit access to Yosemite National Park, with Highway 41 from the south closed to traffic and Big Oak Flat Road leading to the Yosemite Valley closed as well.

No visitors have been allowed into historic Scotty’s Castle since the "largest flood event in recorded history of the area" washed through Death Valley National Park in October 2015, but that’s about to change.
