Muir Woods National Monument Reservations Needed Beginning In January

Share

Beginning in January you'll need either a parking reservation or shuttle bus reservation to drive to Muir Woods National Monument/NPS

Beginning January 16, reservations will be required for all personal vehicles and shuttle riders visiting Muir Woods National Monument in California. You'll be able to make your parking and shuttle reservation beginning January 1.
The reservation system will proactively manage parking and visitor flow and is expected to effectively address overcrowding and traffic congestion to protect the health of Muir Woods.

You'll be able to make a parking or shuttle reservation by visiting GoMuirWoods.com or by calling 1-800-410-2419. Visitors will have the option to reserve either a parking space for $8 per car or a seat on the shuttle for $3 per adult (16 years and older).

The shuttle will run on all weekends and holidays, and on weekdays during peak summer season.
