While fall's richest colors in Shenandoah National Park weren't expected to hit until the third week in October, they looked mighty fine during the second week.

This shot was taken along the Brown Mountain Trail to the west of Skyline Drive.

i love shenandoah national park!!! visited several times, yet it never ceases to amaze me!!!!!
