There are seven campgrounds at Lassen Volcanic National Park in California (not including the group campgrounds), three of which are currently closed (Southwest Walk-In, Juniper Lake, Warner Valley) for recovery from the 2021 Dixie Fire.
The campgrounds available are usually open May/June through September/October, depending upon snow cover and other weather conditions. Most of them require reservations online through recreation.gov or by calling 877-444-6777.
RVs and trailers are best accommodated at Manzanita Lake, Butte Lake, and Summit Lake North and Summit Lake South Campgrounds. There are no hook-ups in the park. A dump station is available at Manzanita Lake.
Butte Lake and Summit Lake have stock corrals. Juniper Lake also has a stock corral but is currently closed due to the Dixie Fire.
There is a Butte Lake Group Campground, Lost Creek Group Campground, and Manzanita Lake Group Campground. There is also a Juniper Lake Group Campground which is currently closed for recovery from the Dixie Fire.

Backcountry Camping
If you really feel like getting away from it all, you can strap on a backpack and head out into Lassen's hinterlands. There are no designated backcountry campsites or trail quotas in the park. You'll need a wilderness permit, obtainable through recreation.gov. You might also want to take a look at the 2021 Dixie Fire vegetation burn severity map to inform your route and camp locations, and learn more about burned area safety. For more details about planning a backcountry trip, check out the park's backcountry camping page.
