Nothing like a fall snowstorm to make it look like the middle of winter in Rocky Mountain National Park.
According to park spokeswoman Kyle Patterson, "A snowstorm moved in to the area on Tuesday night, October 25. The east side of Rocky Mountain National Park received 12 to 16 inches of snow. The west side of the park received 8 inches of snow."
As the accompanying photos show, the storm delivered quite a bit more than a "dusting."

Amazing ... we're hoping we can still eke out a bit of spring in Colorado this year.
Wonderful photographic images. Winter comes early in the mountains.
How beautiful-- wish I was there instead of in the Fla. heat!!
