Nearly nine in 10 Americans view the National Park Service very favorably, according to a survey conducted by the Pew Research Center.
A survey taken in September found that 86 percent of Americans viewed the Park Service either very or mostly favorable. Within the federal government only the U.S. Postal Service, with a 90 percent favorability rating, scored higher than the Park Service.
Respondents who identified themselves as Republicans gave the Park Service an 89 percent favorability rating, while Democrats gave the agency an 86 percent rating.
The latest survey showed a slight uptick in the Park Service's favorability rating. The last survey, taken in July 2018, gave the agency an overall 83 percent favorability rating.
