Train Excursions Resume Saturday At Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad

The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad at Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Ohio is scheduled to kick off its 2018 season this Saturday, January 20. The 3.5-hour National Park Scenic excursion is offered on Saturdays during the months of January and February.

To celebrate the season, CVSR will select two ticket holders on opening day to win CVSR gift baskets with commemorative tasting glasses, merchandise, and train tickets.

Passengers can purchase tickets online in advance at the three main boarding stations: Rockside, Akron Northside or Peninsula station.

Coach tickets are $15 for adults and $10 or children (ages 3-12). Children under the age of 3 do not require a ticket. There is also an executive ticket in the Saint Lucie Sound car with cushioned seats and a spacious lounge area. The executive ticket is $35 per person and includes a sandwich and non-alcoholic beverage. Beverages, snacks and merchandise are available for purchase in the concession car.

CVSR will also offer brunch and lunch on Saturdays in January and February, Ales on Rails “Best Brews” on Saturday, January 20 and Grape Escape “Rieslings” on January 27.
