For nearly four decades, a book profiling the 38 signers of the U.S. Constitution has served history well. But now it's time to update that book, and your help is needed.
It was in 1976 that The Signers of the Constitution was produced by the National Park Service. Between its covers the book delved into the history of the 38 signers of the Constitution. Since that time, though, the book has gone out of print. Now Eastern National is endeavoring to underwrite a new edition that will feature new color illustrations and photographs, as well as a redesigned look and a new edit of the contents.
The book will also include the full text of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. It will be sold at all American Revolutionary National Park Service and National Constitution Center book stores. Proceeds from the sale of this book will go to support the interpretive missions of the National Park Service.
You can help get the new edition produced by contributing to Eastern National's Kickstarter project, which carries a goal of $8,000.
Comments
Eastern National, the non profit in every small (and not so small) national park bookstore, needs Kickstarter? That's unusual.
